You’ve seen,
All there is to see
The good, the bad and
 Everything in between
How you found, what you found
 I do not know, but one thing
Is for sure
You’ve seen what no one
 Has seen before
It amazes me that it took you
 So little time to see through me
I never thought I was like
An open book
But I guess I am,
When I’m around you
Because I want you
 To find all there is to see

Every time I look into your
Big beautiful blue eyes
I can see all there is to see
And I can’t stop myself from
Wondering how to go on

I’m afraid of myself when
I’m around you, afraid of
What I might do
Afraid of losing control
And doing something
 That might complicate it all, even more

Every time you look at me
I can feel your look
See right through me
I can’t hide and I don’t want to
Because I’m not afraid of
What you might find
Wishing everything was different
And uncomplicated, but for now
I’ll settle for our late night
Walks and talks that get me
Through the days when you’re
Not there to make me smile
