Choices
Can a person ever have too much to choose between?
Other then when it comes to shoe and candy choices,
Are there really too many choices and how do you know
That you’ve made the right choice about something? When it comes to choosing between people,
People that you really care about, how do you choose right?
What if your choice makes one happy and the other not?
How can you know which person to let down and which not?
Choices come with so many questions, and questions
Tend to have many answers, which conclude with more choices
Does it ever stop? Do we ever get to only have one choice?
And no matter what it is, you have to choose that one.
How do I know that I did the right thing? Is there a reward
Waiting for me somewhere at the end of this tunnel, that is full of
So many questions with so many choices, that hurt me the most
Because they are hurting the people that I care about?
How did I get into such a dark tunnel, with no light and
No one to hold on to, to guide me and show me the right way?
And if I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel how then do
I know that I’m walking in the right direction towards the right end, the right choice?

Hi Labelmica, love your poetry, when I have time I will come back and read more. Your Choices Poem is just how I feel at this stage in my life. There is just too much to do in this lifetime and life is too short to fit it all in.

Wow, what can I say? Life is filled with ups and downs, but they often tend to come at the same time… One up has a down, and I doubt there ever is one right choice… But nevertheless, one has to make a desicion, and as far as I know, nobody ever said life was easy?
